Long time no updates, sorry! Our baby became a toddler and has started walking, which has resulted in me running. Unbelievable how quickly small legs can take you to all kinds of mischief. Shouldn't have come as a surprise to a glen owner ;)
Very little time for Albert, and a very bad consciece for it. He doesn't seem to mind, though, as long as he's involved in whatever we're doing. Haven't done any trackwork this fall. In fact, I promise we will next weekend (weather permitting)! And we'll try to take some pics. The lack of meaningful activity shows in Albert overreacting to anything fun. Visitors, getting to play with other dogs etc make him lose his marbles completely and just run around in a flurry of extaticlovehappyhappyoutofbreath-ness and lick anything he can reach. Annoying, but can't blame anyone but myself.
I've been thrilled to receive such positive feedback from this site! THANK YOU our lovely visitors. It's been wonderful to see that there are so many like-minded owners out there. It also makes me really happy to think this site has been of help to someone. A lovely pic from late summer to finish this entry off;

Albert had his official health checkup on tuesday. Eyes were clear, knees were ok and his heart was also healthy. Yey! It will be a while before bureaucracy runs its course and the Finnish kennel club gets the results, I'll update them onto Albert's page as soon as it's all official. Now we just have to have all the x-rays done, I'll do a bit of research into practice and prices before I decide where and when.
Albert was, as usual, the main attraction at the vet's, with nurse after nurse coming to pet and coo at him. I wouldn't be surprised if he's sprained his tail from all the wagging. People just can't get over how friendly and charming he is

The site has now reopened after a bit of construction work - a warm welcome back to everyone who stumbles by. There's a lot more work yet to do, and everything already here should also become available in finnish as soon as I get around to it. Remember to leave a mark in the guestbook, it always cheers us up
